New Technology called “Electromyography” or EMG has INCREDIBLE Implications
Mind over matter! Controlling the physical aspect of technology through the mental has enormous implications. In this short video demonstration produced by NPR (National Public Radio), New York-based CTRL-labs created an armband that gives you telekinesis powers similar to the Force. You know, the Force from Star Wars, the force that lets you move objects with your mind? This armband is a neural interface that reads mental intention so users can negotiate objects in digital — and physical — space. If mental intention is all it takes to control our tech devices, then our current interfaces, like typing on keyboards or tapping on smartphone screens, could become a thing of the past. Imagine what people with physical disabilities can do when they leverage this technology. LINK: jwp.io/s/ohqXcQeV May the force be with you! ELECTROMYOGRAPHY or EMG Neural Technology

Education Today
AR can enhance the real world in real time by adding virtual objects such as a medical visualisation of the human body for an anatomy course, augmenting the visual acuity for learners with poor vision, and has grown to encompass all subjects. Simply reading about topics such as Geometry and Anatomy can help a learner become cognisant of a topic. AR allows for learners to see and manipulate 3-D solids (tetrahedron, icosahedron etc) or to perform a virtual dissection of the human body. The AR experience can be displayed through handheld devices such as a smartphone, a head mounted display (HMD), or even with an augmented reality headset. Here’s a example of me showing AR e-Book that was created by my wife’s students in Anchorage, Alaska.
